Addictions: Tools for "Controlled" Drinking
6 CEUs Addictions: Tools for Controlled Drinking

959 Purchased: Reviews
— This was a very interesting course, as my training is with abstinance. Plan to try it as appropriate.
Nice presentation of current approaches to controlled drinking. Excellent resources for the future -- teaching, etc.
— Very interesting alternative to the abstinence model
— The ethical importance of allowing each client to set their own goals and designing treatment aimed at successful achievement of client goals (vs automatic assumption of abstinence only) is an important reminder for guiding therapists working with addictions.
— Your adiction courses are practical and well written and provide useful tools that I can you almost immediately for helping clients.
— Really liked learning about the work done in Germany. Also like that there is good research available, and on-going, on controlled drinking as it is good to have an alternative to pure abstinence for clients who reject abstinence.
— Good Course with helpful ways to "controll drinking" though some of the articles tended to be written in "medicalize".
